Wow! Where did you find a copy of WP/UNIX?
If you have one of the current Intel-based Mac's, this may be helpful:

I can't comment on the utility of the above since I do not have/use a
Macintel
If you have a PPC (G4/G5) Mac, you can download WP 3.5E and run it in
classic mode:

I acquired a used Power Book (G4 400 mHz) and run WP 3.5 on it.
On big problem I have yet to resolve is the inability to open WP files
created in DOS or Linux.

Hi all. I recently got myself a Mac and I was wondering if it were
possible to get WP8 for Unix working in OS X using Xll? (I hope this
question is not too stupid.)

I have no results, but I think that I understand the issues. WP-8.1 for
Linux is just an update of the UNIX WP for X which was based on
WP-DOS-6.x. So, it uses the standard file format which would be an
issue if you already have other WP files on your Mac that aren't the
standard DOS format.
WP-8.1 for Linux has library issues:
1. You must have a copy of GLibc-5.x on your system and there are
issues with compatibility with GLibc-6.x so I would think that
there might be similar issue on the Mac.
2. It is statically linked to X11 libraries which are not 100%
compatible with the current X.org release so, again, there is
likely some incompatibility with the Mac version of X.
