I'm actually curious if people have developed any secrets with creating 
msi.  I'm finding that many fail, especially those that require services 
to be created.  I use the repackaging feature for your info.

Another question, I understand software from Microsoft and Novell allow 
you to create an administrative install point which will create an msi by 
using a switch on the setup file.  Is this common or are there any other 
standards in place with software release.

I am looking for any tips here or something that works well for others.
