I am using dbase iv ver 2.0 for dos and I cannot get it to open up using the c
prompt.

I get a pop up box that reads:
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.

Can anyone help me please. I downloaded windows package 2 but it did not help.

Rebuild the operating system with SFC from Microsoft, and/or expand the
NTVDM file from your CAB files. Go to the Microsoft site for advice and/or
create and incident with MS.
