Dean,

To help other to help you, can you tell us what version of dBASE you are
using and on which version of Windows are you running your web
application? As well, are you using streaming output to print or the
dBASE REPORT classes?

Problems with _pdriver

I have a number of web servers performing operations on a pooled basis. At
different times, they need to print to several different printers. If I
embed a _pdriver command at the start of a program, the default printer is
successfully changed but the print job always prints from Tray 1, rather
than respecting the Document Defaults set in the Control Panel. Any ideas
would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Dean

Dean,

If you were to do the same streaming output logic in your dBASE IDE,
does the printer change correctly AND print from the correct tray?

If it works there, does it work if you put the dBASE PLUS on a NT
server?

If it works in both the situations above, I would suggest you check that
the runtime on the server is the same version as your dBASE PLUS. If it
does not work in both situations, then you might have an OS issue or a
bug that needs reporting to dBASE. If it is a bug, it might have been
fixed in a subsequent release. The current release is 2.6.1.3 and
2.6.1.4 is due in the near future.
