Roland,

In the Word document you say:

"Start the ODBC Administrator (You will find it in Start > Settings
> Control Panel)."

A week ago I had to reinstall the operating system due to had disk trouble. This
time I installed XP
Pro instead of Win2000 and noticed that the ODBC Administrator did not turn up
in the Control Panel.

It can however be opened from the BDE Administrator in the following way:

In the BDE Adminstrator select Tab 'Databases' -> 'Object' -> ODBC
Administrator...

You'll find it in:
Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Data Sources
