Fred,

You'll catch more attention by posting this type of message in the
dbase.jobs news group. There is also another dbase.jobs news group in
the news groups hosted by George Burt at news://dbasetalk.com

Thank you all for all your valuable input to all my queries on the dbase
newsgroups.

I realize that the best way to get something done is to get a professional
to do it for you

Therefore I would like to contact professionals who would be able to assist
me with
simple programming required by my small manufacturing company.

I have a homewritten dbase 4.2 ( dos ) manufacturing program which needs to
be
converted to dbase plus.

there has to be interface between the .dbf tables and the accounting package
which uses
firebird.

there is no major rocket science between the two only that they both need to
have read and write access to
the stock inventory file

I do not have an unlimited budget- so would like to work on an ad hoc
piecemeal arrangement

any interested parties please email me fred@polyflexseals.co.za

best regards fred evans
