Inno compile error

Inno compile error
Fri, 16 Nov 2007 17:54:13 -050
I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall everything from CDs I had. Now I am
getting an error building deployment files using the Inno tab and lightning bolt
button in Project Explorer for my dBASE Plus 2.6.0.0.

There is a line in the script about dBASE Runtime.txt and I get an error saying
that PlusRuntime_b1899_en.exe does not exist. If it is looking in my Program
Files\dBASE\Plus\Runtime folder, there is a PLUSRun.exe, PLUSr_en.dll,
plusrun.exe.manifest, and resource.dll.

It looks like a mismatch between my dBASE Plus and the included INNO setup from
the 2.6.0 CD. IIRC I did not have this problem with a deployment made prior to
wiping my hard drive and reinstalling.

Al,

Looking at the dBI web site you appear entitled to at least one patch.
Maybe you did that in the past and need to do it again.

That's possible. I'll look and see if I can do that.

Hi,

you can download this needed file from dbi website ;-)

This is the Runtime-Engine Installer file passed to your build number of
installed dbase Buld number PlusRuntime_bxxxx_en for english version yyyy_de
for german and so on ...

Normal this file is also passed on CD in a Subfolder RUNTIME and will be not
automatically be installed with the dBase Installation and must be copied in
the Subfolder on harddrive.
