The only way to obtain transparency on Toolbuttons is to use .BMPs whose
"transparency color" is set to purple -- more precisely RGB(128, 0,
128).

I'm sorry Jean-Pierre, but let me disagree: .WMFs can also be used to
obtain transparency on pushbuttons. ;-)

Can a transparent png or gif be used in a toolbar ?
The transparent background seems to become white or black or some
other color.
What I'm doing wrong?
