GROUP SUMMARY IN REPORT PROBLEM

GROUP SUMMARY IN REPORT PROBLEM
Thu, 7 Jun 2007 21:03:18 +0200
In my report I have group1 for a year and group2 for a type of investment. I
there are two or more types of investment, the report work o.k. but if there
is only one type of investment the summary for group2 does not show proper
summary. For example:

group2summary 40.000 type of investment group (it should be 25.000 )
detail 1 2007 10.000
detail 2 2007 15.000
group1summary 25.000 summary for 2007
group2 summary 15.000
detail 3 2008 15.000
group 1 summary 15.000
grandtotal 40.000

Any idea what it wrong with the report?

Hello Anton:
Are you using a single table for the report (a single dbf table or a flat file
as a result of a .sql file through a datamodule) or is your source for the
report a datamodule with two or more tables related together?

Anton,

Post a turnkey example in the dbase.binaries news group so that people
can take a look at what you are doing. It should be working.
