How do I build end user help (F1) into the program ??
If the end user presses the 'F1' key, the HELP system should disply with
information for that form.
I have always used speed tips in the past. not enough room for all the info
and no ability for
the usere to navagate to other help ares with speed tips

Bob,

Traditionally, we used .hlp files, but those are deprecated by Microsoft 
so .chm files are better way to go. There was a very useful discussion 
of this in 2006. Find the thread the starts with the message below and 
read all the messages in the thread. There are great examples and 
explanations to be found:
