1. A new return string for the OS() function that indicates Windows Vista.
2. For the OS() entry in the online help:
Windows 2003 = "Windows NT version 5.02"
Windows Vista = "?"

That hasn't been my experience. At least not with the latest runtime, build
2059. dBASE returns the same string under Vista as it does for XP.
Don't know if the IDE is different; I haven't loaded it onto a Vista machine
yet.

Hi Roger.
Can you double check. (dBASE Plus b2059)
I found that (using Vista ultimate) ...
in an .exe (using plusrun.exe) OS() returns 'Windows NT version 6.00'
But, in the IDE it returns 'Windows NT version 5.01'
Is anyone seeing something different?
Thanks, Kathy

Hi Kathy,
I have Vista Business, and the runtime returns 'Windows NT version 5.01' on my
machine.
