This is a long shot but when I added SATA to a system with SCSI in it I
had to add /!BIOS to the BASDEV=DANIS506.ADD line in config.sys. I
added a SATA harddrive while you added a DVD and I don't recall doing
anything to video as work around, so as I said , a long shot.

I recently installed a new motherboard/cpu in a system running eCS 1.2.
The board was defective so I reinstalled the equipment that we being
replaced: ASUS A8N-E, AMD socket 939 cpu, ASUS PCI-E Graphics card with
NVidia 6200 series chip, Adaptec 2930 SCSI card.

An SATA DVD drive was added.

The system no longer boots properly. There was no change to the
configuration to eComStation, except that I have tried the Dani drivers:
DaniS506l.Add, DaniAtapi.flt.

The system no longer boots with the original IBM drivers. When the Dani
drivers are used, I cannot log onto my network and keep getting SYSErro:
0008, not enough memory, error if I use the SNAP drivers (3.18).
Currently I am in vanilla VGA.

Thanks, but no it didn't help. I had tried that feature before, but
thought I'd try it again.

I removed the SATA DVD, and turned off SATA in the CMOS. That didn't
help either! (Although it did allow me to use the imb ide driver.) So
