Promise Controler

Hello Everybody,

i am looking around for a Non-Raid-Sata-Controller! (I like it, to have 2
single HD`s for Multi-OS-Purposes)
Now i found a real interest one from Promise, the Promise TX4302,
could i use this Controller with eComStation (1.2R)???? Knows that anybody!?

The real question is: Does danis506.add support the chipset used?

I do not see Promise TX4302 mentioned in the danis506.doc...

You could give the controller a try but it might be worth asking Dani if 
support already exists or if it will be added in the future.

The Promise TX4302 works like a charm for me with the current Dani's
drivers.  I can't remember which was the first version to support it.

Yes and No!
I wrote the Question in this Style why i has been read the
Thread before my own, "Recommendations for a Hardware Raid Solution".
In the First Answer of Arthur you can read "If I was you I would look 
into Promise raid controllers. They are in PATA and SATA 
available...(and so forth)" this sounds to me like "Look for a Promise

Controller, they has eCS-Support!".

I could also not find TX4302 in danis documentation, i have this file 
too! But read the first Block above!
