What is the make and model of this unit.
Some early SMP machines were not compatible with the present
(Intel MIPS ?) standard.

Hello All,
I'm trying to add smp support to a 6 processor machine and it constantly
hangs at the eCS logo after rebooting, once eCSMT has added SMP Support.
I've tried literally dozens of times, sometimes letting eCSMT update all
other parts of the system, other times going straight for the SMP update.
The result is always the same.
If I boot to a cmd session and type e and hit enter it will actually
launch the PM, but I have no SMP support. I haven't tried this everytime,
just once by accident and then once after that.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi Aidan,
Its a HP LT6000R. I have tried it in both MIPS 1.1 and MIPS 1.4 mode.
Thanks,
Tyrone

Hello Tyrone,
I would try other PSDs in exchange for OS2APIC.PSD.
I send you some I have gathered via email.
Since HP has acquired Compaq some years ago and might still be using
their technology, I would try the PROLIANT.PSD first.

Your mail address doesn't work from here (domain not resolved).
If you want the PSDs send me an email with a valid address.
I will be out for the weekend, so I will respond at monday.
