Well does anyone have any suggestions on a way to make the AMD dual core
processor run eCS_SMP? I can get it to work for only a short time and
after that it traps out between the kernel and CPU either right at the
start of the Desktop or just after. On boot up it recognizes both

Wish I had one to play with. Some things to play with are parameters
to os2apic.psd. see
http://www.os2voice.org/VNL/past_issues/VNL0399H/vnewsft.htm for
whatsome of these are. One shouldn't need to do this, but you are
sailing in uncharted waters.

Hi,
Can you give us some details of your system, i.e. which motherboard
and which BIOS does it use?

I know nothing about dual core processors, but my single processor AMD Athlon
64
system became stable only after I threw out SIO*.SYS in favour of IBM's COM.SYS
drivers.
