Alan,
I have an IBM Intellistation that is SMP and the onboard Adapetec SCSI
works just fine. I have not tried ACPI so I don't know what happens if
that is thrown into the mix.

I've just read the ACPI-SMP.doc file that is part of the ACPI package on
the BetaZone.
One of the first instructions is to remove old SCSI cards. Does this
mean that SMP/ACPI does not work with SCSI adapters, or does it merely
mean that any cards not needed (which may include SCSI cards) should be
removed?
I would like to build an SMP machine, but I also want to continue using
my industrial-strength SCSI drives rather than switching to IDE.

Did it actually say "old" SCSI cards?
Not New(er) SCSI cards??
I wonder if they mean ISA cards.
