Lucide 100% CPU

Lucide 100% CPU

Hi,

I have a PDF which chokes Lucide: it went to 100% CPU, and I killed it after
10 minutes. It could be my system, is anyone else having this? URL is
http://www.noord-holland.nl/Images/65_116849.pdf
My Lucide version is 1.0 Rc1. which I think is the latest.

Nope, sorry, thats a rather old (and bug ridden version). I am using
Lucide 1.20 from the Mensys Software subscription site. Its much improved
over the earlier iterations.

That being said, it WRECKED lucide for whatever reason. It works fine
under Acrobat 4 and 5.1 beta , and my friend tested it under windows using
Foxit and it worked fine. I'm guessing its using some obsucre adobe trick
to render something and lucide doesn't support it yet.

Same here!

I tried the file with Ubuntu 7.10, and just got a quick flash before it
disappeared, About said it is PDF-1.3, 1 page, No optimized and A4
Landscape.

In Win XP it opened and showed a color map/plan with some text in Dutch.

The above link works without any obvious problems, loads almost
immediately with very little cpus peaking, using an old Lucide Beta4(?)
installation (14/10/2006) as a Helper App in Seamonkey117(PmW).

However, while the areal view is displayed I do not see any text as
mentioned in the post by K Melland.

Ghost script/view displays the aerial photo and a few second later the
text pops up.
