| Font problem in Thunderbird & Firefox |

I'm using v2.0.0.9 of Firefox and Thunderbird under eCS 1.1 and continue
having a problem that started several versions ago: About 9-10 days after a
system reboot, fonts other than fixed fonts print as little squares-- but
only in Firefox and Thunderbird (mostly TB). Graphic images and fixed font
text appear just fine. Other programs continue to print just fine. That
glitch in those programs is almost the only reason I ever have to reboot my
system. Any idea what's going wrong?

The "little squares" may be indicative of a codepage problem - maybe
you
do not have a required font or unicode font installed.

I've thought of that. But wouldn't I experience the problem right away?

You mention that the problem started after a system reboot. I would
hazard a guess that something went missing prior to the reboot.
Didn't delete or move any fonts? Change system settings?

I guess you have the Innotek Font Engine installed and activated? That
contains several leaks, especially version 2.4x is bad, 2.6x is a lot
better but still not completely fixed. So rebooting is really the only
possibility.
