Hi all (although this message is more for people who know how to port Unix
software to eCS, like Paul Smedley),
I have seen that there is now a GNU fortran 95 that runs together with
GCC. It is supposed to work on Windows using Cygwin
(http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortranBinariesCygwin), so it would certainly
work on eCS too.
Except for some obscure piece of software (NASoft Fortran), that is of
course not developed anymore, there has never been a Fortran 9x for OS/2.
Fortran 77 in Watcom is nice, but the improvements of Fortran 9x over 77
cannot be neglected.
So is there someone here who would like trying to port GNU Fortran 95 to
OS/2-eCS ?
Are there many people interested in such piece of software (that could be
the object of another os2world bounty) ?
AyPP
