Has anyone else seen this? I use Thunderbird 2.0.0.5 under eComstation
2.0B3, and have set the program to make the 'gong' sound when a new email
arrives. 99.5% of the time, when a new email arrives, the gong sounds.
Fair enough! But once or twice a day, the gong sounds, but there is no
new email. Not in Inbox, not in Junk, and not in Trash. Could this be
some malware that is thwarted by landing in an unexpected and unfamiliar
operating system, or a quirk of TB, or...?
