If you are using Open Office 2.0 for eCS, Click on the Format menu
then select Page and change from "letter" to "A4" and then
save the
document.

Yesterday I downloaded a .doc file (from the UK) which I opened in Lotus
WordPro. I was able to print it out but with a little difficulty, because
it is in the A4 format (8.25 x 11.25 dimensions). Does anyone know of a
neat trick to convert such a file to the US format (8.5 x 11) dimension?
When a .pdf file in this format comes in, opening it is Adobe allows me to
change the dimensions. Any way to do this in WordPro?

Another technique would be to print it to a PDF using PMPDF and then
print the PDF from Lucide or Adobe (shrinking it to fit).
