SW: eCo Software winter updates

eCo Software is a developer of shareware/commercial products and research 
laboratory.

During the end of winter - beginning of spring  we have released updates 
of: 
ACPI, GNU, USBDock, NeoWPS, Books.


1. ACPI

eComStation uses the latest Intel ACPI CA source code. 
Major part of modern computers don't work properly without ACPI driver.

Toshiba notebooks.
Purchase eComStation Software Subscription today
(it gives you access to eComStation updates during 12 monthes)
and test fresh ACPI. Post bug-reports  to the tracker
(Do you have troubles with Shutdown? If you have troubles
then create a ticket: which method do you use, version of eWorkPlace, ACPI)

Collaboration with other developers: Uniaud team added the support of ACPI 
to their driver.



2. Panorama video drivers

You need Panorama VESA for old notebooks (2004 and older)
and you need it for modern notebooks (2004 and newer)

v.0.72 update contains support for Intel GM965/PM965 chipset 
which had already support before, but was quietly modified by Intel

10. DevCon

eComStation is useful if there are useful well-designed applications. 
The developers should release 20-50 medium applications to enforce 
eComStation in 2008.
To simplify the development of new applications 
eCo Software is going invest into the development of new PM-controls and 
templates.
