Phase 2 gets to the point where the eCS logo is displayed and
I can see it loads a lot of drivers.
After that I get a TRAP 000e ERACC=0000
Exception in module: OS2KRNL
Internal processing error at ##0168:fff1da1f - 000e:ca1f
60000, 9084
0f8606fd
Internal revision 14.104a_W4
Have tried enabling and disabling both ACPI and APM but nothing helps.
It's an Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 and all hardware except sound and
fingerprint stuff should be supported.
Running out of ideas what to do next so any help is welcome.
Thks,

Just a WAG, but get to a command line by booting the install CD, and
edit CONFIG.SYS to change the THREADS=1024 line to THREADS=1536 (or
2048). Doing that has bypassed problems for some people.
Hope this helps...

Unfortunately I still get the same trap when trying both 1536 and 2048.
Also tried to install RC2 with the same result, trap in OS2KRNL.
Anything else I could try ?

Gave it another try. This time I wiped the whole disk, put BM first,
recreated partitions for eCS, Apps and Vista.
Now RC2 installed without any errors (no nic, but that I knew).
Next to be installed tomorrow is RC3.
The disk layout I first used was quite similar to another with XP
preinstalled and I did not get traps on that one.
This disk had Vista preinstalled, so could that be the cause?
LVM did not report any errors when I created a partition for installing
RC3 the first time.
