I know this is a silly question..

I know this is a silly question..

But... Is there any light at the end of the tunnel which might reveal
when this 2.0 version will go GA and be available to the public?

Some time after today :P Sorry, I have no idea. But I would be guessing
(just speculating mind you) probably Q4 this year or Q1 next year. I don't
see it being released before September :\

That was close to what I expected. I have an aging, ailing IBM
IntelliStation server that I've replaced the CD-ROM and power supply
on this past week. I just hate getting a new computer and having to
install, re-install, fuss and fidget over and over to get it the way I
like it. Maybe the old one will last now that its had both heart and
liver transplants. Seems fine at the moment.

Don't know if this matters but looking at the eComStation bug tracker,
there is a listingfor eComStation 2.1 as "unreleased". Has this
been
there for a while now and I'm just noticing it? If they are beginning
to work on eCS 2.1 internally, maybe 2.0 is closer to GA then we may
be thinking.

I would have said ((12-N) / 12) * PriceOfSubscription :-)
