Hello!
I'm trying to install eComStation v1.2 on a old Dell PowerEdge 2450
server. This machine has dual 866 MHz Pentium III processors with 1
Gbyte of RAM. It is using an Adaptec AIC-7899 SCSI controller with five
34 Gbyte SCSI disks connected to Dell's PERC RAID controller.
When I configure the RAID controller to put the five disks into a single
RAID "container" the eCS install program does not see any hard drives
in
the system. If I configure the RAID controller in "non-RAID" mode,
the
five disks are listed separately during the POST testing phase of system
boot. However, the eCS installer crashes when it attempts to list the
disks (for example, when I want to specify an installation partition,
etc). I get the following output
---> cut <---
The system detected an internal processing
error at location ##1200:1662 - 0002:1662
60000, 2008
07860683
Internal revision 14.103a_W4
The system is stopped.
---> cut <---
I'm not sure how to proceed from here to resolve my problem. Is it just
not possible to install eCS on this machine?

P.S. I'm one of the Open Watcom developers and I'm trying to set up a
system to do daily builds and regression tests of Open Watcom on eCS as
