| Ecs 1.2 ITA hang during installation |

Hi to all.
I'm trying to install eCs 1.2 ITA on an HP e-pc.
Everithing goes fine up to Hdw recon: audio, video and LAN came up just
fine. Then, when the install prog start to copy file i get an error
CAS0021 PUTSTATEVAR cannot write to CONFIG.SYS
and the installation abort.
Previously, i was able to do an installation by create the partition
using an XP Cd (horrible!!), but now even that way won't work.
HD is a 120gb, work fine under XP, and is show correctly.

Check your installation logfiles.

Where the hell they are??
However, i managed to have installation compelted by using a 20gb HD and
then copy the installation on the 160gb final disk.
No way to install it directly onto the 80 or 120 or 160 gb.

You have to have Daniela's IDE support for large drives and SATA. Did
you try to install eCS 1.2 or the eCS 1.2 refresh? I installed eCS
1.2R on a 120Gb SATA drive without any great issues.

Is this Italian 1.2 or 1.2R!
You have an Athlon 64 based machine if so your toast ? Get a free
upgrade to eCS 1.2R. Older versions then eCS 1.2R will not install on an
Athlon 64 based machine.
