| WinOS2 printer? |

Hi,
Has anyone installed a printer in WinOS2? I have an HP1320N and would
like to install WordPerfect 6.1 in WinOS2 with a driver for the HP but
can't find a printer driver. With help from the group I created the SLPR
port and got the printer installed in eCS.
I beta tested WP for many years and would like to install it in 1.2 and
hopefully in 2.0 some day. Being able to print directly from WP would be
nice.
Thanks,

I think you need to ascertain what Win3 HP driver will work with the
printer. I suggest an email to HP Support in the hope of getting an
answer :-)

Apparently, that printer has some post script compatibility, so he
should be able to install a post script printer driver, and get it to
work. I don't have any experience with that, so it would help if
somebody, who has done it, can help.

This printer has both PCL and PS emulation, so you can use the latest
Win3x PCL or PS printer drivers.
The easiest means is to download and install the PS driver from here.
http://www.subsys.de/ePDF/
You can use the generic driver or try the Linux PPD from here.

I would suggest upgrading to WPWin 7, if you can find it.

Get the Adobe Postscript printer driver program, version 3.12. You feed
it the PPD file for the printer and it creates a Postscript printer driver
for that printer.
