Options for VPN

FX Communications, the folks who made the Injoy dialer, won't answer
emails about their firewall from me as a licensed owner or from me as a
prospective buyer of an update and additional license. Their chat room is
unreachable.

Are they still in business, other than taking people's money through
Mensys? More importantly, do we have any other options for VPN on eCS?
I'll keep trying with FX through the few remaining days they allow to get
the thing working, but I really have little hope.

FX Communications also has some email room on Yahoo but there hasn't been
any traffic in three years.

Hi Craig,

You will find some matches if you search for VPN on Hobbes. One match
says something about VPN capability built into OS/2's MPTS.

The firewall was ported mostly as part of the VPN but the VPN only
connects to an IBM AIX VPN server.

Thanks, Louis. I had tried that and downloaded some redbooks to try to
figure out the VPN which might or might not be concealed somewhere in
IBM's tcpip. Nobody ever seems to mention using either the concealed
firewall or the VPN, although occasionally on the forums somebody will
mention their existence.
