date and time went far ahead

Hi there,

eCS 121, trendnet tw 100 brf114 router, trendnet wifi (not connected to 
any of these PCs)

Recently I noticed that data and time had went into 2024-09-01 'time' on 
one PC and a few days later the other one went into 2009something i 
think it was.

I managed to correct the date and time. When the same happened on the 
socond PC i chose to restart the router, eventhough it appeared to have 
the right date. This is now about a week ago, no probs since.

Anyone seen something similar before..??

PS - I had it set to take a backup of the Desktop every 5th day. All of 
a sudden it was 6079!! days since last backup, so it took of course one 
more. ;) And one more when it was back again and it said -6079 days. :-)))
