| Genmac v2.20 installation ? |

Hello All;
I have a D-link DIR-625 router and a D-link DWA-542 and DWL-G520 wifi
nics and am now ready to jump in and try to install the Genmac v2.2
warpin package. Is there anything I should do before starting?
I have the full Genmac warpin installation package as well as the WLAN
v3.10 package. I am assuming that the Genmac goes in 1st and then WLAN 2nd.
Will the Genmac install set up MPTS for me or is this not needed with
wifi nics?
Am I correct in understanding that I use WLAN to set up my SSID and
WPA2 key for my nics? Are there any online installation docs available?

It is actually pretty easy. Install GENMAC 2.2, using the WarpIn
installer (the hardware does need to be installed first), then install
either the EXE version of XWLAN, or the Widget version (if you have
either eWorkPlace, or XWorkplace installed). The widget is highly
recommended. You can actually install both, but that can prove to be
confusing, when you aren't to sure how it all works.
You do need to install the NIC(s), using the Adapters and Protocols
program, to be able to use them. Be sure to READ the XWLAN
instructions, about how to set up multiple NICs, if you have more than
one. It may be better to try to get them working, one at a time, so
you don't confuse yourself.
Hope this helps...
