| Hardware virtualization - How to enable |

Hello/2
i've a Lenevo R61 with Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo 8100 and using
VirtualBox/2 1.56 under ecs 2.0r4 (4GB RAM).
I've enbaled the Hardware Virtualization in BIOS, and enabled vt-x in
the settings of the machines, but the session info of the running
machines say that Hardware Virtualization is disabled. Did i miss a
thing? How can i enable this function?
Must i enable SMP mode for that? (Can't in the moment becouse i've
another problem with that (see support.deutsch). Installed is already
the actual SMP Kernel.
So long that is not working i can't try to install any OS/2 version as a
VM. (1.3 says a TRAP (no misspelling, i've a old 1.3, jst for fun), 2.1
have a problem with screen$ or something, and 1.2R / Warp 4 same problem
with resource.sys.
BTW: Windows XP, Server 2003, Debian 4.0, open Suse 10.3 and even
Windows 98 are working very well, first two systems with Guestadditions
installed, debian i'm trying right now.
So, any tips for me? Thanks.
Bye,

You did, it is not (yet) working in the OS/2-version of VBox!

For OS/2 virtualization with VBox, hardware virtualization is mandatory!
And I was not able to virtualize any OS/2 prior 2.0, no VM-solution does
support OS/2 1.x but with VirtualPC/2 and VBox/Lx I was able to get
running OS/2 2.0, 2.11, 3.0, 4.0 and 4.52 - eCS does not yet work with
VBox, but this is a known issue!
