Hi,
One more question. I read some of the threads from last year regarding the
multimodal browser in PDA. It seems that only Pocket PC 2003 can support
multimodal browser (Netfront V3.1). The windows mobile 5.0 was still not
stable then. How is the status for now?
I need to show some multimodal web pages on a PDA. So I am trying to buy a
pocket pc running on ppc 2003, but it seems that most of them are
discontinued after windows mobile 5.0 was released last year. Is there a
newer version of the multimodal browser that can be used in windows mobile
5.0?
Thanks a lot!

We have an internal version of the browser which addresses stability
problems with WM5, but it has not been released to the public yet.

I have tried Netfront on a PDA with mobile 5.0 but it runs into problems. It
is fine if I start Netfront after a re-boot, but has problems if some other
program has been running such as Internet Explorer, and also doe snot work
if a wireless connection is on - which is what I wanted to test with calls
to a server.
Is it a matter of limited processing power or memory?
When is the new release likely to be available?
