Hi John,
Sorry, but there is not a way to do this with the multimodal browser. It
will only reco what a user says against a finite grammar.

| Arbitary text in grammar |

Hi
Is there any way in X+V to assign what a user say in a HTML input text field
without a specific grammar ?
More specific,
I know that in order for X+V to recognize a voice input it must be a grammar
with predefined rules that specify exactly the tokens that speech recognizer
can recognize.
What I need is a grammar that accept all user voice input, filled the
<vxml:field> and with sync or getElementByID to assign the user voice
input
in my HTML field.
Can this happen? (I do not want to record the user input and play it back I
want the user voice input to appear as text in my HTML input text field)
Is there any other way to do it (without a grammar)?
Thanks
John
