| gnome main-menu hangs with active network connection |

hello,
I use 10.2 with the Gnome desktop, which worked well so far until today
suddenly some strange things happened to the main-menu:
When I click the menu button, nothing happens for about 2 minutes until
finally the menu will appear. I then can close it and reopen it without
this problem, but if I start an application or do a click inside the menu,
the next time I try to open the menu will again take forever.
Strange thing is that it will only happen if I have an active network
connection, when I close the connection before, everything works ok, this
can be reproduced, turn net off and menu will work, turn it on again and
problem is there.
My system is a default install of 10.2 on a notebook, and network manager
is used for handling a few different wireless connections.
Has someone encountered such a thing before, or maybe does someone know
what the gnome main-menu has to do with networking at all?
greetings
Benjamin

Hello,
further investigation showed that cable-bound network connections are ok,
only wireless connections lead to the described behavior.
May it be possible that the NetworkManager inside the SuSE main-menu is
the problem?

Hello,
problem could be resolved by clearing ~/.recently-used.xbel
maybe problem was that not all documents in the list where actually
reachable because some of them reside on networked servers.
