| Windows Disappear on Minimize in GNOME |

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm very new to SuSE and Linux
in general. I recently installed openSuSE 10.2 (x86_64) on my computer,
running the gnome desktop. It worked fine on the first boot, on which I
installed an NVIDIA graphics driver and madwifi wireless driver. However,
when i booted for a second time, every time i tried to minimize a window,
it appears to minimize to the bottom right hand corner and dissappear.
The programs still appear to be running according to the system monitor,
but i cant find them! Thanks in advance for any help.

Jon Nagurney,
OK, when this happen can you switch through the running apps by pressing
ALT+TAB?
When the programs are running normally, are you able to see the apps on
the bottom panel?
