Evolution

I'm changing from Ubuntu to Open Suse & evolution will not open old
Back-up files TAZ there is no back-up / Restore tools.  How do I get
these added???

Depends on what those old backup files were written with. However, more
likely than not, the tools are in place and Evolution only needs to be
told which ones to use.

Is the "TAZ" in your message the file name suffix of the backup files
in
question? Then it looks like those might be compressed tar archives. Try
renaming one of them from whatever.taz to whatever.tgz and see if
Evolution can then open it. If that works, it might be the easiest
solution.
