| Getting Rid Of Unwanted Updates In OpenSUSE Updater |

Hello all,
The latest new kernel security update that changes the KDE
10.3 kernel from revision 2.6.22.13-0.3 to the newer 2.6.22.16 is a
disaster that wiped out my atheros card wireless configuration/driver
and also apparently doesn't like ATI cards either. I fixed my updater
created problems with the help of Malcolm, but I have one final
question I would seek an answer for. Since that new kernel update is
still available, the OpenSUSE Updater in the task bar shows a red
triangle. I can temporarily do away with the update by unclicking the
box in the updater pop up window, but that doesn't really accomplish
anything if it is the only update left. In Windows you can "hide"
unwanted updates and they will be ignored by the operating system
updater unless you unhide them. Can I do that with KDE 10.3 so I won't
be shown that update anymore, and my updater icon will go back to being
a happy green ball???? Thanks.
Robert
