| Side effect of using KControl |

Hello
I use Gnome desktop. I would like to use some KDE apps such as Kate,
but when I open them their menu fonts are too small. I used KControl to
change the menu font size, but after rebooting my account was left in a
state where XWindow would not run correctly. When I log in the system
logs me back out and returns me to the login prompt. I can log in to my
account using a terminal, but when I enter startx, XWindow partially
boots and then exits, returning me to the command line. At this point
there's a message on the screen saying XWindow was unable to locate
some non-scaleable fonts.
Is there a way I can change the menu fonts of a KDE program running
under Gnome?
Thanks
David

David,
which opensuse version, and what is the exact error message? From what you say
I'd guess you simply need to install the missing fonts.
