kinternet dcop start and shutdown

KDE 3.5.5 SuSE 10.2

If I have kinternet running in the system tray, how can I have it 
establish a dialup connection (already configured),
and how can I shutdown that connection later?

Is there any documentation on using the kinternet and its dcop
interface?
