Novell client install, now k-menu does not work

Novell client install, now k-menu does not work
Wed, 20 Feb 2008 14:46:02 GMT
Hello all! I use 103. with kde3 and compiz fusion. I have followed
'Search Results Page' (http://tinyurl.com/2v5buc)
to get the ncl installed and working. However, now that it is installed
and working, k-menu (start button on the other os) does not work. When i
click on it, nothing is shown, no apps, no favs, nothing. Also,
konqueror is not working;no internet for knoqueror and no sysinfo:/.
Can someone help me fix this?
Also, when i login as root, i get nothing but a "white" screen. No
desktop is visible at all. Can not control-alt-delete to logoff or
nothing.

* carnold6,

can you disable compiz and see if that helps?

Yep, that gets everything back working but i do want to use compiz. Is
it possible? It kinda seems to me that the may be in the order that
compiz and ncl load? Please tell me there is a workaround.
