pkg-config can't find installed applications

pkg-config can't find installed applications
Thu, 13 Mar 2008 15:34:29 GMT
I'm trying to manually install the latest svn of aegisub.
I have installed all stated dependencies, most using YAST.
Some were compiled and installed from source such as asa, ffmpeg,
hunspell and wxWidgets.
When I configure aegisub (it uses pkg-config), it can find everything
except for asa, hunspell and ffmpeg. These all installed without error
and I can them under /usr/local/share.

Can I get pkg-config to see them or should I re-install them to a
different location?

Have you tried setting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable to change
where pkg-config looks for .pc files?
