Bluetooth ... how do I

Bluetooth ... how do I
Thu, 03 Apr 2008 18:45:12 GMT
I have a Motorola H350 Bluetooth headset. I want to be able to use this
with Skype.

I have a Bluetooth dongle plugged into a USB port. The system recognizes
that this exists as I have the Bluetooth icon in the system tray.

My problem is that I don't have any idea how to pair the headset with
the computer. (I have done all of this in Windows XP and it works well
in that environment.)

I am running openSUSE 10.3 with Gnome.

If someone could lead me through the steps to get this working, it would
be really appreciated.

Hi
Is it on this rather short list?
http://en.opensuse.org/HCL/Bluetooth_Adapters
Have you activated the services is Yast, depending on your desktop,
there should be a GUI to see if it's pairing.

Well the answer to the short list question is maybe. The following is
from a hardware scan:

Device: Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Model: Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
Driver: hci_usb
Drivers
	Active: Yes
	modprobe: Yes
Vendor: Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd

The exterior label on the dongle is "Bluespoon." It was purchased at
Radio Shack.
