Iscsi Automount Problem

Hi all,

I success to use iSCSI Initiator (open-iscsi) on the SUSE to connect to
the iSCSI and can mount manually.

Did any know whether there is away to perform a on boot auto mount for
iSCSI


The following is what I try before.

1) I try the configure the fstab with the mount info of the iSCSI
drive, but it then boot woth error. I have to reset the fstab in order
for me the boot normal.

2) Then I try to mention the iSCSI drive as _netdev in the fstab, but
the iSCSI did not mount automatically.

3) After that, I try to use autofs automounter, but the iSCSI did not
mount automatically.

I am new on Linux System, please point out anything I did wrong or
missed, thx.

its easy .. 

what is the error message you are getting ? Also configure your iscsi
to start automatically on boot up in yast (in iscsi configuration then
double check in your run level editor) then just add the devices in
your fstab like so:

/dev/disk/by-uuid/uuid#here /home/whatever  ext3       hotplug,rw      
0 2

I really miss the edit button here ;) 

anyways .. can you mount the iscsi devices normally without the fstab
entries? (just for testing purposes) and are you seeing the devices in
lsscsi ?
