Why, on OpenSUSE 10.3, is GnuCash only on release 2.2.0? The lastest
available is 2.2.4, released on 3rd March this year. Even the
"unstable"
repository is only at 2.2.2, so one then wonders what happened to 2.2.1?

Hi
Probably dependencies with other applications in the distribution. Is
there a specific reason you need to run 2.2.4? If so I would run a
virtual machine (I use vmware workstation 5.5) and compile from source,
then you may get an idea as to why?

Found this:
'RPM Search gnucash-2.2.4-4.4.i586.rpm' (http://tinyurl.com/6ryzzq)

I don't use GnuCash, so I can't comment as to the quality/stability of
this particular build. Nor can I comment on why it's not in the main
OpenSuSE stuff (didn't personally look there). However, this may be
what you're looking for ... an RPM to update to 2.2.4 in OpenSuSE
10.3.

Hope this helps,

Aaron
