| SUSE Fix? |

When I have installed SuSE 9.x I have been able to have it on my Dell
Inspiron 1100, but when I have installed SuSE 10.0, I have had the
problem of not loading up the GUI interface (after GRUB Selecting SUSE.)
I have tried installing a complete fresh copy of 10.0 on the full hdd,
and installing 10.0 over the SUSE 9.3 partition (after a dual boot
installation of Win XP/SUSE 9.3). When Installing 9.x or 10.0, I am
installing the same base programs that is given under KDE setup.
The problem is that after GRUB, it enters into stage 5, but fails. Then
all I see is a DOS mode style screen.
The question is, What am I doing wrong when installing SUSE 10.x? Has
the setup changed in 10.x compared to 9.x? Would my Dell INSPIRON 1100
be too old for 10.x? Are the following specs too small for SUSE 10.x?
Current Specs...
Dell INSPIRON 1100
Intel Celeron 2.40GHz
256 RAM
DVD Rom/CD-RW
40 GB HDD
