Yast does not detect HP LASERJET P2015 network printer

Hello,

I recently installed openSUSE 10.2 but YAST did not detect the switched on
network printer HP LASERJET P2015, while I manually could select the
manufacturer HP and the printermodel LASERJET P2015. The only problem that
I experienced during YAST configuration is that with the HostName the
system could not find the printer while if I entered the IP-Address as
HostName the printer was found, could be configured and prints correctly.
Should I have done something special to obtain automatic Yast detection?

Additional question. What is the best printer setup for this network printer
to print also from a Windows XP PC over the network
