Hi folks
Sometimes, after printing errors, my printer(s) get status
"interupted":
Unterbrochen: /usr/lib64/cups/backend/lpd failed
I couldn'd find any command to get it workin again :(
What I do is: delete printer, create new printer.
All my printers are connecte via TCP as LDP printers.
Any idea?
Thx

Go look at the status of the printer in the http://localhost:631 interface.
If you want to do certain things, such as restarting a printer, you'll need
to define a username/password for it. Unfortunately I can't remember what
the name was of the command-line tools to set it.
Anyone abl to help him ?

Till now I only used YAST to configure printers...
This CUPS menu seems to be better.
I'll try this

Well, CUPS is a good idea, and has had a good start. I've been using it
trough YAST and the web form for a while now.
But there's a lot more work to be done before I'd use it as a print server.
Unfortunately, it seems the developpers think they've allready arrived at
destination.
