SLES 10sp1 and CommVault

SLES 10sp1 and CommVault
Fri, 08 Feb 2008 21:46:01 GMT
Hi all, I posted this in the SLES forum first and hope that someone here
might understand my problem.

I have a problem with updates for SLES breaking my CommVault 6.1 backup
client every time that I run them.

I can re-install the CV client, or copy known-good CV directories to
/etc and /opt and the CV client will work again.

I can't find any info about why this would happen, and I wonder if it's
a SLES/Linux oddity or if it's a CV problem. CommVault has no useful
info on their site, and support.novell.com doesn't either.

Anyone else using CommVault on SLES? Anyone seeing updates breaking
other installed software?

Thanks

J
