Hello,
I wondered if anyone has seen the following dependency problem when
updating glibc recently? Would anyone be able to suggest a work-around
please?

glibc-2.4-31.43.6.x86_64[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates]

atom:glibc-2.4-31.43.4.i586[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates] provides glibc ==
2.4-31.43.4, but has another architecture.
There are no installable providers of glibc == 2.4-31.43.4 for
patch:glibc-4965-0.noarch[SUSE-Linux-10.1-Updates]

JT,
where did you get the update from? If you added a repository, Yast or whatever
tool you use should take care of dependencies.

Hi,
I've got the same problem on my 10.1 64bit architectures, since the
last successful update.
The source for updates is ftp.suse.com for both servers. Any hint about
what to do?
The dependency error is:
│patch:glibc-4965-0.noarch
on OpenSuse 10.1.
