| Amarok update |

In my updater it keeps telling me to update Amarok. It will download the
patch but unfortunately it will does not seem to perform it and tells me
after checking for updates to do it again and again. How do I solve
this?

I'm getting the same problem. SUSE 10.3 installed Sunday. I went to the
command line and tryed zypper up -T patch it said it had to down grade
Amarok and did. updater no longer shows that patch.

I finally founds the problem Amarok-yauap was installed but not yauap
itself. Obviously there is no proper depency set. After correcting this
the it was solved.
I have no idea why we need a self proclaimed usesless program, but its
a fact. Still under 10.2 the updater failed all together and now it
works again.

Run yast2 online update once to install updates and it will go away.
It is a shortcoming of the desktop updater applets.
